The next giant section of the wall now has two base coats finished and the beginnings of the blend coats. Tomorrow the painting crew will hopefully do up the remaining blends on the bricks and rocks making it ready for the glazes on Wednesday. By the end of the week, it should be done. Two more large pieces ready for sculpting
Matt took the opportunity to enjoy some warm sunshine last week as he worked outside tying the diamond lath to the finished armatures for the entry wall for NEB’s Fun World. This coming week we’ll do the concrete sculpting on these two large pieces to have work ready for the painters on the following week. Stay tuned for the fun…
Pic without the shop clutter
It has been a while, but I finally found the time to snap a better picture of the Christie’s sign and add a plain background to better showcase it. The double-sided dimensional sign is overflowing with exquisite details and yet is still simple and easy to read. It is going to look great mounted to the giant entry building facade at NEB’s Fun World in Oshawa, Ontario.
