It was the second big sculpting day in a row as our brilliant crew worked to finish the first roof section for the NEB’s entry facade. Each ‘wood’ shingle is individually sculpted. There were five of us sculpting the shingles and we continually rotated our positions to make the woodgrains look random. This is going to look spectacular when it is fully painted and glazed starting next week. Stay tuned…
Big sculpt day
The entire crew jumped in to sculpt the upper roof section of the first building on the NEB’s Fun World project. Matt & Peter had towelled our secret concrete mud on a significant portion of the structure. Tomorrow they’ll tackle some more and on Friday we should be able to wrap this section up and make it ready for paint next week. Stay tuned…
Brilliant bricks
Lainey is quickly building her skills at blending paints and final glazing. Like all of our crew, she started by working alongside someone more experienced, mimicking their work. Today, she worked independently and blended a new set of colours on this lower wall section for NEB’s Fun World. The bricks turned out fabulous and will look even better as the glazes are applied very soon. Stay tuned…
