The base colours are now finished on Jeff’s Gadgetorium sign. Kendra has been busy laying on the colours and blends and the sign is looking pretty fabulous! Next week she’ll add the final details and glazes to make it ready for installation. Stay tuned…
Lolo's sign standing
After welding the beginnings of the Tre structure to the Lolo’s sign bracket we hoisted it up with the chain fall and then welded it to the base plate. Neal did the honours of welding up things good and sturdy. Next up we’ll begin welding the pencil rod armature. This piece is coming together nicely. Stay tuned…
Riveted masterpiece
Keith has been busy cutting, fitting and welding the structural beams for the waterwheel project. While fully welded, the ‘historical’ piece will appear to be riveted together. We’ll use scores of real rivets on the frame which are blind welded behind the plates to hold them secure. This is going to be a wonderful piece by the time we are done. Stay tuned…
