At the Imagination Corporation, we define a sign as anything that promotes a business, service or entity. This allows plenty of room for creativity. The Hazelnut Inn takes full advantage of thi s sign definition. The building itself is unlike anything else around. It stops traffic and begs for a selfie from all who pass by. The sign for the Copper Crown suite harkens back to the days when a graphic was as important as the words on the sign. From our experience, we know people simply don’t often read signs. The dimensional wrought iron bracket anchors the sculptural message to the building in a fitting style. Then there’s the amazing garden door. It is crafted from hundreds of pieces of hammered steel, imposing and yet welcoming, but not before another selfie of course. At this point guests are still in the parking lot…. imagine the wonders that are yet to be discovered inside…
The signs of Hazelnut Inn - part one
Long before we even had the zoning and building permits in hand, the signs and garden doors were started for the Hazelnut Inn. The suites we imagined would be spectacular and deserved much more than typical typical fare. Our desire was to tease our guests as they approached their hideaway, building lofty expectations as they entered. These signs have already won international awards and have been featured in magazines. The rooms will be even better! Stay tuned…
Major milestone passed
There have been many, many important milestones throughout the Hazelnut Inn project. Today was another. The building passed today’s official city progress inspection which clears us to have the spray foam insulation finished and then start on the final interior theme work. It’s going to be a whole lot of fun! Stay tuned…
