Lookout railing

After a busy week at the Hazelnut Inn Keith was delighted to be back in the shop to do some welding and grinding. The project is the handrail on the lookout for the Secret Garden Mini Golf at Castle Fun Park. He is fabricating it in place on top of the structure to ensure a perfect fit. Once the posts and rails are welded up securely we’ll bring it down to weld in the steel pickets. Keith made great progress on his first day. Stay tuned for more…

Waiting patiently...

The giant pink dragon soon to be bound for Castle Fun Park is now out in the parking lot and looking great. For now, he sits on a steel pallet for shipping but when work begins on site he’ll be perched atop a ten-foot tower which will be surrounded by a castle maze. These pieces are also finished and waiting in our parking lot. Stay tuned…

Exterior complete

With the driveway now complete and the gate installed the exterior work on the Hazelnut Inn is officially done. The building looks spectacular from every angle. The trades are all finished with their work and the spray foam is the next to be done. Once the building is fully insulated we can then finish the theme work in the North Star suite. Hopefully by the first week of December the painting crew will be busy adding colour to the inside at long last. With every passing day we are one step closer to welcome our first guest. Stay tuned…
