Henry has a very busy day playing in the yard but he did spare enough time to art direct the finishing touches to the dinosaur car. The Dino’s eyes had to perfectly match Henry’s and his scales needed to be dark blue. Once I finished the painting it was of course time for a lengthy test ride down our long driveway, and down the sidewalk to a couple of neighbours. We are now counting the days until next Saturday morning when Henry will showcase his marvellous creation to the thousands of people who will gather on that day.
Giant castle taking shape
The mushroom fairy castle is quickly taking shape as the crew ties the lath onto the welded armature. This section of the castle is massive by itself and is only the bottom third of the final height. Because of the required engineered structural inspections, we’ll be completing all three sections to this stage before we begin the sculpting. This section was moved outside to make room for new projects inside the shop which is getting fuller each day.
Last loads
We spent the morning loading in the balance of the features which are now bound for NEB’s Fun World. Everything went smoothly and the pieces went in without a scratch. Four fifty-three-foot trailers full of goodies are now on the way. Our customer is busy getting ready for the fun to begin there. Stay tuned for more…
