The ‘wood’ textured shingles on the wishing well for the Castle Golf at NEB’s were sculpted today. Since the wishing well will be about fifteen feet tall when it is fully assembled we fabricated the roof as a separate piece to facilitate it fitting inside the transport truck. A sturdy lifting point, complete with a removable eye bolt was built into the top. The last bit of the ‘steel’ cap will be sculpted tomorrow which means this piece will be ready for paint next week. Stay tuned….
Castle wishing well progress
The last feature in production for the mini golfs at NEB’s Fun World is coming along quickly. It is the wishing well feature for the Castle Golf. By the end of the day tomorrow the armature will be complete and ready for the diamond lath. The sculpted concrete won’t be far behind. The roof of this wishing well will be fully sculpted tomorrow which means it won’t be long until this piece goes out the door and down the road to Ontario. Stay tuned…
Colourful tower!
The painting crew contuse to work their magic in the shop. The base colours are now finished on the tallest tower for NEB’s castle. Tomorrow, they will begin the glazes which will bring this piece to life. By week’s end, it will be ready to roll out with all of the other features filling the yard.
