My favourite kind of sign is one you simply can’t walk by without giving it a good look. Better yet is a sign that grabs attention - even if you approach it from the rear. The Lickity sign does all that and much, much more. It’s silly, over the top. colourful and plain old fun. Reading the words doesn’t provide much information but looking at it instantly tells all you need to know. It’s time for some ice cream!
First of the name plaques
Although our Fall Sculpture Magic Workshop is still a little more than six months distant we have already begun preparations for the event. As per our practice, each person who attends will receive a custom made name plaque. I am working on the designs as I am able and then as we carve larger projects they are routed from the off-cut material. Working on the name plaques now gives us a big head start on preparations and uses up materials that might otherwise go to waste. We still have three seats left for the workshop and I’d love to make a name plaque for you.
Almost done!
Lickity is getting more colourful with every passing hour. He will get the last of the paint on his glasses, beak and feet tomorrow and then he has three days to cure before hitting the road to Penticton in the Okanagan on Saturday. I’ll bet he will get lots of attention on the journey to his home!
