Lickity gets a little more colourful every day as Becke layers on the layers pf paint. The ice cream cone looks almost good enough to eat already and the surfboard has its first blend coats of paint. This is going to be one of our most colourful signs to date.
Last of the knees
With the warm weather here at last it is time to catch up the outside chores. The first job was to put up the last fifteen of the knees under the eaves. They’ve been sitting on the front porch since the cold weather stopped the work on the house with the advent of the cold weather last fall. I’m a fair weather carpenter. :)
Fun details
My entry for the Sign Invitational is now down to the teeny details and I’m having a blast creating each and every one. I especially enjoy adding humorous tidbits. Like the crate market fragile but tumbled off the stack on the loading dock., the moped leaned against the no parking sign, the overflowing garbage can, the lost dog under the poster advertising his loss. There are lots more to come…
