Janis & I spent our final leisurely day at Disneyland enjoying our favourite attractions one last time. Then it was time to stroll out of the park under the glow of the magical lights and pack for the trip home tomorrow. We had a great week to rest up and my creative batteries are fully recharged.
Clayburn Pet Hospital Sign
Yesterday, Matt and I loaded up the Clayburn Pet Hospital Sign on the flat deck trailer We cinched it down with numerous straps (you can never have too many straps) and prepped some touch-up paint and the like. This afternoon I checked the straps over one last time and headed off to Abbotsford.
Everything was ready when I arrived and everyone pitched in as we placed the sign in its permanent home. The rain even held off so it was a perfect day!
The Green Ship
One of the great things about the Hazelnut Inn project is the massive amount of detail we have been able to include. By the time we are finished guests won’t be able to take five steps without seeing something extraordinary! Many of these features will be at eye level, some on the ground and others high in the air. In fact one of the highest spots on the North Star suite will showcase a spectacular weathervane. We debated a number of different designs and in the end we settled on an easter egg.
