As the holidays quickly approach I am busy doing the last of large series of drawings for a project. Juniper decided it would definitely speed things up i she helped me. She has a lot of experience with crayons and brushes but this was her first time using the digital tools. I knew well (from previous experience with other kids) to first save my work and then put a new transparent layer over my original before letting Juniper work her magic. It didn’t take long to transform the picture into a looser more colourful version and Juniper declared it perfect. Grampa had to agree.
Christmas traditions
Traditionally our Christmas tree does not get put up until after the last birthday is done. That would be Phoebe’s birthday which is on December 21. But with Peter and Hailey and the other two grandkids in the house we have blended our traditions and this meant the tree was decorated early - with Phoebe’s blessing. Juniper, now three was eager to help and made many of the decorations on this year’s tree. The tree is one of the prettiest ever! Only three more sleeps until Christmas!
It's Christmas time!
It’s that time of year once again. Today was the last day of work this year for most of our crew as we take our annual break for the holidays. Our team is taking well deserved time for family and friends through the next week. The Christmas lights are burning bright with our wish of happiness and peace for all.
