The Clayburn Pet Hospital sign is progressing rapidly. The welded structure and armatures are complete, the sign is routed and glued up, and the lath work is well underway. Grant has been getting quite the workout mixing the sculpting epoxy as I work on forming the animals. Two of the three are now almost done leaving only the small kitten left to complete. The sign is going to be a real head turner when it is complete!
IAAPA
The IAAPA Attractions Expo is coming up quickly and the excitement is building as the weeks tick by! This year Dan will be speaking on the importance of storytelling for smaller parks (something we happen to know a little bit about). Florida, here we come!
Another roof assembly
The shop space is currently dominated with the construction of the structural steel for the roof of the largest tower and sub-tower of the Copper Crown (castle) suite. We will prefabricate the large structure in our shop in two pieces. These two halves will be pulled from the shop singly when we are done and then reassembled onsite before being lifted into place. By the end of the week we should be fastening on the roof sheeting. Stay tuned…
