The second batch of name plaques is now routed and ready for paint. I look forward to seeing them all in colour and on display for our October Sculpting Magic Workshop attendees!
Barrels painted
The NEBs Pub project is one we relegated for rainy days, between more pressing outside jobs. Today it rained and the two large barrels got Jenessa's undivided attention. The painting on these beauties is now complete. As soon as we move the large center pieces out of the shop the edge pieces will get bolted back on in readiness or shipping. I can hardly wait to see them all together!
Taking our dragon for a ride
Pulling the giant steel dragon down our town street in the local parade was great fun without a doubt but seeing a dragon in that context wasn't overly surprising for most viewers. Today, we dismantled the parade float and lifted the dragon onto our flat deck trailer. We were delivering him to his permanent home about five miles distant. While I could have easily laid the dragon flat on the trailer I knew it would be a whole lot more fun to transport it in the upright position. As expected, we turned lots of heads on the stately cruise to our client's farm. Dragons are best transported in grand style! :)
