We managed to cut and weld up the still barrel structure on one of the pieces today. With every piece and weld the structure its more massive and heavy! On Monday we'll finish the pencil rod frame on the barrel and then do up the second still to this stage as well. It will go much faster as all of the steel components were cut at the same time. There will be much less thinking time on the second piece as we've done it all previously. That will leave only the base structures to fabricate after that.
First class installation!
Dustin at Loco Landin was kind enough o send us some photos of he installed features with we did this past winter. The did a great job installing them and the features look fabulous in their new home. Janis & I are looking forward to heading up to Penticton in the next few weeks to take a first hand look at the installation. While we are there we'll be measuring up the next few holes for the next features which will be installed in time for next year's summer season.
Chickens home to roost
With the sun shining brightly this morning it was the perfect day to grab some pictures of the recently installed Arends house sign. I and the owners were pleased how the colours matched the house - just like it was planned. :)
