Ready to push out of the shop

The windmill feature which will soon be bound for Loco Landing Adventure Park is now ready for shipping. We'll push it out of the shop tomorrow to make room for the next exciting project. This is a truly unique piece. It's very colourful and fun piece ha is also interactive. Guests can turn the hand crank to set the big propeller in motion. It was a very fun piece to build!

Front end done

Every couple of days I manage to find a little time to do a bit more work on the little Jeep. The hood is now fabricated and mounted as is the windshield frame. Those two items really changed the look of the cute little vehicle in a big way. In my next work session I'll start in on mounting the motor and finishing off the back end of the Jeep. There is a debate amongst the crew whether to pain i army green or bright yellow like my full size Jeep. I suspect yellow may win the day. It won't be long now until the test drive!

Sculpting on inn model almost complete

We are getting a much clearer view of how the Hazelnut Inn will appear when it is built. The model of the Under Hill suite is now fully sculpted and the Copper Crown (castle) suite is almost finished the sculpting process. The North Star suite portion of the model is now receiving it's base colours. It's bright and garish at this point but these are only the base colours and will be changed and toned down significantly as the many layers of glazes are applied. Stay tuned for the final results...
