We've been having an ice storm for two days and things are rather frozen up locally. After two days of cold I'm ready for spring! :) Thankfully the shop is nice and toasty as I work on a fun project.
More progress on the robot
I spent a little more time in the shop this afternoon working on the Coastal Enterprises robot table. I managed to sculpt the bulk of the body, Instead of rivets I decided to model slot head screws as fasteners, to give the little robot more of a retro feel. We've actually banned slot head screws from our shop years ago and replace them when we come across them in an assembly. I should be able to finish the bulk of the sculpt tomorrow if all goes well. Stay tuned...
A new pair of shoes for baby
The shop is 'quiet' for the holidays, save for me having a little fun. I fired up the CNC plasma cutter, the CNC router, table saw and a variety of tools. I made plenty of noise, lots of sparks and smoke and plenty of dust too. The base for the table is now together and the shoes of the robot are sculpted. Tomorrow I'll go back and have a little more fun. Stay tuned...
