With each passing day the golf at Skallywag Bay is looking much more complete. Today he courtyard also got it's concrete which is a massive step in the completion process. Tomorrow we head back for another long day in the hot sunshine.
How to Build a Mountain Inside a Building
We do not have a large shop. We have a small shop - not tiny, but definitely on the small side. In fact, people are often amazed when they visit. The trick is to build larger features in sections. It often feels like a game musical chairs as we move sections in and out of the shop but it gets the job done!
Above you can see a couple of mountain sections being prepped for mud. This panorama shot is a little deceptive as you can see all four walls of the shop.
Seven of eighteen
It was a busy day in the sunshine at Skallywag Bay in Trinidad. We finished the groundwork and placed the features for seven of the adventure golf holes. Tomorrow, the crews begin the formwork. It is looking very much more like an adventure golf every day. Tomorrow the work continues as we count down the final days of construction. It's exciting!
