I believe most of us have a secret dream to sleep in a castle, or perhaps a hobbit style home. And we know there are many other themes that fit into this category as well. We are currently dreaming up four separate themed rooms on a very special property which will provide this kind of unique experience. There will be endless attention to details both inside and out to create the most magical of experiences. Concept drawings at this early stage are very preliminary and are subject to countless changes as we proceed, but we are hard at work dreaming and designing our most ambitious project yet. The drawing part is easy. Working up full building plans which will capture this magical dream in all it's glory will take a little more effort. Building it will be both fun and challenging. Stay tuned for much, much more...
Dig this
I was running the tractor today, shaping the soil in the yard in preparation for Becke's modular home which is soon to arrive. As I worked I remembered similar work we did about fourteen years ago when we first bought the place. We've done so much work and so many changes since those early days. The only constant through the years was change and that will continue for some time yet. In the picture below I an digging in a tree which we relocated. More trees will soon be planted in much the same manner soon.
Deliverance
Today was delivery day for the balance of the PNE features. Loading at our end was uneventful and quick. The sixty kilometre trip into the city went well as traffic was light. Once onsite, it took a few minutes to set up the crane and untie the load and then the real adventure began. It would be the first time all of the pieces were assembled. Jenessa and I did the untying and hooking up of the loads while the PNE crew did the assembly. In less than an hour the job was done.
