And on to the next

With our first entry into the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions EXPO now behind us our attention turns to next year. We of course want to put on an even better showing next year. Based on the reaction of our guests at our booth this year we will be exploring ideas for next year. It is never too early to start the discussion. How big a booth should we take? What will be the theme? What do we want to show? These, along with many other questions will be asked. And in the next few months we will begin work on next year's show exhibit. The first idea that came to my mind was inspired by a conversation I had at the show with Richard Deaver. I drew up the first sketch today - just for fun... Will this be the final idea or the one we actually build - most likely not. But this is how the fun starts.

While the bosses are away...

While Peter, Rebecca and I were busy in Orlando at the IAAPA EXPO this past week, the crew was busy in the shop. Their challenge was to paint as many of the bowling alley arches as possible. As always, they applied three base coats of colour and then started in on the glazes. We trusted our crew to work hard in our absence and more importantly do a great job (as always). I poked out to the shop this evening and was delighted to see the results of the crew's work. They did not disappoint in the least. Some of the arches are complete, and the rest almost so. They look fabulous thanks to the efforts of our amazing crew!
