Coming up with a clever idea for a theme is fairly easy. When six ideas are needed to work up a themed series it is a little tougher. We decided on six themed signs for NEBs Pub. The sixth sign gave me some pause and made me really scratch my head. I wanted a double sided sign, a unique bracket and it had to follow the faerie theme in an unusual fashion. After hours of scribbling, erasing and reworking I finally struck on an idea I loved. 'Garden Variety Gnome Whiskey' - anything but ordinary. This will be a fun one to create!
Almost sculpted
We are down to the small details now on the hand sculpting of Skallywag's pirate steam train engine. Just little bits remain before the painting begins. It is a train quite unlike any other out there and will be a fitting and fun addition to the adventure park.
First sculpting for NEBs bowling lanes
The crew applied the concrete and sculpted the first prototype pieces for NEB's Fun World bowling centre today. In the last few years we have perfected our unique approach of building modules, enabling us easy transport and seamless and quick assembly on site - no matter how far flung our projects might be. The archways, posts and beams are designed to quickly assemble on site meaning our client won't have to shut any lanes down during construction. In the next week we'll finish the painting of these first pieces which will set the tone and style of the many yet to come.
