Angie's last day

Angie started working for us on the first phase of the Cultus Lake Adventure Park, more than two years ago. Since then she's skillfully done all kinds of jobs including troweling and sculpting concrete, painting, welding wiring and a whole lot more. Angie encouraged everyone, always cheerful and always did every task with enthusiasm. Today was her last day with our team as she moves on to new opportunities. We'll miss Angie a great deal but we wish her the very best in everything she does in the future!

Painting in the sunshine

The whole crew were swinging paint brushes today and made awesome progress on the ship pieces. Base coats are now all on as well as the blends. The crew also polished off the first glaze and most of the dry brushing as well before quitting time. The second Viking ship for Dubai is looking very spiffy! Shipping date has been set for August 30 and so the pressure is on.

90 days to IAAPA

The clock is ticking and it is now only 90 days until the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions EXPO in Orlando, Florida. The massive trade show is the largest gathering of theme park professionals in the world with over 30,000 attendees and 1,000 vendors. It will be our first time displaying at the show and we will be in booth 2159. Our booth display has been built for months and will soon return into the shop for it's final going over in preparation for it's shipping to Orlando for the show. We've booked our travel arrangements, submitted our booth plan, bought insurance, and even entered our display in the Brass Ring Awards.
