We started the sculpting process on the inside of the Viking boat today. The portholes in the side of the ship are for water guns and large valve wheels that will control various water features for kids to interact with. By quitting time the inside of the first half of the ship was done with a good start on the outside planks as well. It required a great effort by the crew to apply and carve twenty loads of concrete. Tomorrow it is our hope to finish sculpting the outside of the first half of the ship. Stay tuned for pictures.
Heads or tails?
Today, the crew finished sculpting the head and tail of the first Viking ship which will soon be bound for Dubai. The pieces are very big and heavy but fun from... well... from head to tail.
Shields up
SHIELDS UP! I always wanted to say that and today was finally the day. The crew sculpted four of the shields on one of the Viking ships today. They look pretty spiffy already! By the time they get their paint job they will be even better!
