Today was a day off for me. That gave me a bunch of time to do what I enjoy most. I spent time with both of my grand-girls and also some time to do some relaxing drawing - just for fun. And what did I draw? My grand-girls of course. The first drawing was from a photo I took of Phoebe about a year and a half ago. It captures Phoebe in her element, studying nature. She was catching tadpoles from a nearby brook. The second drawing is of little Juniper, now sitting on her own and just starting to be mobile. The photo I worked from was taken yesterday.
Starting point of a fun round
The golf clubhouse for NEB's Garden needs to set the stage for the entire golfing experience. In keeping with the scale and theme the building is housed in a giant barrel. This will be the starting point of a fun round of golf.
Getting ready for a celebration!
For the first time in many months the parking lot in the front of the shop is clear. Today, between heavy rain showers we consolidated all of the features and welded frames to the far side of the driveway. It sure tidied things up in a hurry! On Sunday, we will be celebrating with a former employee who is getting married in our yard.
