We finished up the study model of the Viking target practice range today. The model is definitely a quickie but still a very effective way to get across our ideas. In looking at the photos tonight I think we'll add a few battle axes wedged into a few of the shields tomorrow - just for fun.
Viking target practice
The Viking ships will be equipped with water cannons for the kids to play with. This meant some Viking style targets were needed to shoot at. Today, Peter and I started the sculpt of another presentation model to demonstrate our ideas. We finished about half of the sculpt today and there are still plenty of details to add including a bunch of shields to aim at. The model will be presented mid-week along with the mushroom house. This is going to be fun!
Mushroom sculpt done
Peter and I put in a couple of enjoyable hours today polishing off the last of the sculpting on the mushroom house. We had a lot of fun! The small details really added a lot. Tomorrow Becke will lay on the magic paint to really bring it to life. I can hardly wait!
