The trade show booth is now finished. I manage to grab a lot of good shots of our work on a daily basis but today we took the time to drape the workshop behind the booth and bring in Becke to properly photograph it, in detail, with her professional equipment. Her skills made a BIG difference. While we were at it Becke spent the day shooting many of our other recent pieces. I'll be giving a peek at these photos over the next days.
Stow yer weapons!
It is amazing just how much even a small project can change with the skillful application of the paint and faux finishes. Jenessa finished off the Hornswaggler's sword sign today and it looks fabulous! The sword measures about four feet long as a point of reference. I can hardly wait to see the sign outside the arcade at Skallywag's Adventure park. It feels very piratey!
Trade show booth nearing completion
The trade show booth is now fully mocked up and we are having a second set of prints laminated prior to fastening them to the walls in a permanent fashion. We wanted our booth to be a faithful replication of our studio and the walls and shelves are covered in concept drawings, photos, scale models and examples of our signage and sculptures. The TV will show our recently produced videos. Add in the metal work, sculpted concrete, and faux paintwork of the booth itself and the picture is complete. The look is busy without a doubt but the booth faithfully gives a detailed peek into every aspect of what we do.
