Our projects are designed to look fabulous in the bright sunshine of day. But we also plan a whole new magic at night under the lights. The Cultus Lake Adventure Park is a good example. As in the daytime the cool colors play off the warms to create a welcoming place.
Last big piece for Trinidad
We still have lots of details and a few smaller pieces to work on but the last BIG piece bound for Trinidad is now making it's way through the shop. The main gate is getting it's final paint. Because of it's size it was fabricated in two pieces and won't be fitted together until it arrives in Trinidad.
The bottom section is the last to receive it's paint, first the sculpted concrete work and then the ironwork last.
A day in the park
I spent much of the day photographing the Cultus Lake Adventure Park. It was magic to watch the ever-changing landscape as the sun travelled across the sky. Through it all happy families enjoyed the park around me. I was just another face, anonymous to those around. I could hear endless comments, all positive as families simply had fun. Becke was with me for part of the day with her camera and between us we managed over 600 shots. Edited down and tweaked they numbered eighty-five wonderful pictures. Here is two that capture the magic for your enjoyment. The bottom photo took fifteen minutes of waiting to get both rides in perfect position.
