At any one time in our shop there are many projects on the go in all stages of finish. Still more are in the planning stage as well. It certainly keeps the whole crew busy! One of the projects currently in the welding area is the entrance gate(s). It is built in two pieces to allow it to fit inside a shipping container. There's been a couple revisions to the design as we built. The diagonal braces were dropped in favor of the arched horizontal bar. Because of height restrictions the arched top bar was also eliminated. We'll begin applying the sculpted concrete to this piece on the next shop (rain) day.
Seventeen
Today our crew descended on the seventeenth hole of the adventure golf to do the sculpted concrete work. We are building all new features to create a whole new golfing experience on this and five other holes while also incorporating the many large roller coaster structural pylons. Hole seventeen just got a whole lot more challenging and fun!
Another video soon
To help promote the project in Trinidad our clients have asked us to prepare a video featuring the studio construction in British Columbia. We of course called up our friends at Inmist. They did such a great job on our last video. I love the passion and enthusiasm RJ and Dawson bring to each project. We've asked them to work with us on some other cool projects this coming year as well. So stay tuned for another peek behind the scenes of the Trinidad project soon.
