The variety of name plaques we are making making for the workshops is interesting to see. The task is both a learning opportunity for us with new techniques and color combos as well as demonstration pieces for our students. With about (now) 30 different names on display our guests will get a good idea of the unlimited choices available.

Here's five more of the finished ones...

We are full blast into getting ready now...

Ready set - wait.

The three long days at the ISA trade show in Las Vegas were a resounding success. It was so good to see so many old friends and meet so many new people too. My time at the show laid the groundwork for some very positive things in the future.

But as exciting as these events are in far flung locations I am always more than happy to head home as well. I made it to the airport good and early - plenty early it turns out for my flight had been delayed by three hours. I had time for a leisurly dinner (which was very delicious) and time to get into a good book. Although I would rather have been on the way home it was also good to simply relax at the airport. The airport is quiet compared to the din of the hotel public areas and the convention too.

I'll have a good snooze on the plane as we jet home and I will hopefully be in my own bed at home by 5:30 am.

Thanks to everyone who sought me out and said hi at the trade show in Las Vegas. It was a fun event!
