Instant shelving

They say any horizontal surface will instantly gather stuff.

We like to be organized in our shop, and everything has it's proper place. Even so, when we get busy on a large and complex project that requires many different tools and materials things tend to gather and get strewn about. When I work alone I often multi-task and get interrupted often as there is no one around to delegate these things to. When my crew comes in after a few days off, one of the first tasks is often to put everything in order once again. I'm not saying I'm the messy one at all... really. But stuff happens.

This morning as I came into the shop, the steel framework for a big project currently underway had magically gathered all sorts of things. I wonder how that happened?  :)

Maybe today I'll get more organized...

Designing makes me hungry.

The last couple of days have been spent at my design board dreaming up a variety of future projects. I'd love to show the finished designs but that will have to wait a bit yet. (more to come soon) I can say that I often work up quite the appetite while designing our projects. Sometimes the ideas I'm working on add to the hunger dilemma. Today was no exception. :)

Soon this hefty sandwich will be sculpted much, much larger than life in our studio. I imagine that just might make me much hungrier than usual.
