I spent much of the day under a welding helmet - forming, fitting and welding the pencil rod armature for the flower eating dragon destined for the Secret Garden mini golf at Castle Fun Park. To make things a little easier I fabricated and attached the diamond lath at workbench level. When it was complete we lifted to to the top of the body structure and welded it securely into position. I then formed and welded the pencil rod of the body and tail. Tomorrow, we’ll fabricate the wings, arms and legs along with the ‘supporting’ mushrooms. The piece is coming along quickly.
