Henry (now four years old) visits our shop on most Mondays and Wednesdays. He is always eager to do ‘real work’ especially with his own tools. Today it was time for something new. Becky was applying the texture coat to the lettering on a sign. Although it was Henry’s first attempt at this job he was eager to give it a go. He bravely climbed the ladder and only needed a bit of instruction before proceeding. He informed me he could do the second side all by himself as he now knew how to do it. I loved his enthusiasm. Kids continually teach us if we allow them. They show us how easy it is to tackle new jobs without fear and with total confidence. They show us how we can indeed do anything we want with just a little encouragement, instruction and practice. Henry did a great job on the second side too!
