I spent some valuable time wandering through the New Star Wars Land in Disney World. There is so very much to see, layer upon layer of detail - all in service of the story. It is undoubtably one of the most richly detailed theme lands I have ever seen without a doubt. Being a huge fan of dimensional signs, I especially took note of the signage. This small one I found especially interesting. It looked to be largely made of forged heavy gauge steel for the most part - although that may have been simulated. The sign was tucked away in a hidden corner and was much too high to touch which would have made me sure of the material from which it was constructed. The sign was above a little storefront and although it really advertised nothing to most guests it still did it’s job exceptionally well and that was to provide atmosphere to the setting. This is my absolute favourite type of sign to create!
