Phoebe is currently studying DNA in science. Her assignment was to build a model. While her fellow students are using pipe cleaners or bent wire Phoebe had a more heavy duty plan. She recruited her grampa to help her bend the steel pencil rod. A scrap piece of steel provided the base plate. This thing won’t easily tip over! I did the (easy job) measuring while Phoebe cut the cross pieces using a pair of bolt cutters. Then after some brief instruction Phoebe welded the structure together. It turns out she’s a natural. It must be in her DNA. :)
