We pressed hard to totally finish the welding on one side of the Viking ship frame. Our goal was to get it polished off in time to take a trip to Silver City Galvanizers on the truck that will soon be picking up the masts that were sent late last week. We'll lift the top section off and then disassemble it for the journey. Just before quitting time today we were done and it was time to rearrange the yard to make room. We loosened off the bolts and will do the lifting first thing tomorrow. Right beside us the painting crew finished off the base coats on the large target and began the glazing. The huge piece is beginning to gather a lot of color!
