The last piece for Trinidad that we are building in our shop is the train engine body. The chassis and running gear are being designed and built in California by our good friends at Hillcrest Shops. We've been busy in our studio as they work on their pieces down in California. The front and back of the train are done and the middle portion is ready start, pending final measurements from California. When we are both finished our work we'll load the engine body onto a trailer and haul it down for mating to the chassis. Then comes the test ride on their tracks before it gets crated up one last time for it's trip down to Trinidad. That's going to be a whole lot of fun!
