We are currently in the design stage of a 'forest' of multi-storey mushroom houses that will be connected with climbing nets, slides and other playground equipment. It is a massive and challenging assignment. As usual there are the physical restraints of construction methods, assembly and transport. Our solution was to build a quick study and presentation model which measures one inch to the foot compared to the final piece. The netting and climbing equipment will attach to our structure via exposed pipes and fittings. The presentation meeting is in the middle of next week and so we had to get cooking on the model. After about six hours of work it already looks pretty magical with a couple more windows, various small details and a paint job to yet to finish.
